Firehouse Films is dedicated to exposing the community to relevant and artistic film makers the FIRST FRIDAY of every month. With your support, we are building a professional venue with the sole purpose of entertaining and educating the community with the works of talented and emerging film makers, both locally and nationally. Firehouse Films provides an opportunity for film lovers and movie-goers to enjoy cutting edge, artistic and humorous films without the drive. We believe Firehouse Films provides a culturally significant opportunity for the arts to be viewed, contemplated and discussed.

Firehouse Films First Friday is inviting local and national film makers to submit several short films or one full length feature to be considered for a screening during our monthly film program. The work we are looking for is artistic and innovative. Each submission should include a brief synopsis of the film and the filmmakers creative process. Email films@firehouseart.org for more information.

Poetry is an opportunity, it gives us the chance to celebrate and commemorate all the wonderful moments in our lives from the simplest smiles to the most momentous victories. It also enables us to cope in challenging times. With poetry, we can address our problems, come to terms with them, and work to grow past them. It has the potential to move across the spectrum of human experience in a cathartic and often beautiful way.
Please only read original work.
