Volunteer & Intern Opportunities

Teachers

We are currently seeking art teachers who would be interested in participating in a project to provide free art lessons to the pupils in Title 1 Elementary Schools in Longmont. (Title 1 designates a school in which 70% of more students are eligible for free or reduced school lunch). Ideally we need teachers who have a current K-12 teaching or substitute teacher license. If you are interested in helping us to develop this project we would love to hear from you! We also need enthusiastic volunteers who would be interested in helping us put this together. Gallery Staff

Our volunteer gallery staff work in the gallery greeting visitor, answering the phone and providing general information. It's a great job if you are interested in art as our shows change every month or so. We love volunteers who like to learn and talk about art! Gallery sitters also assists in small projects as they arise.We are currently looking for people who might be interested in helping us on a Friday evening from 6-9pm, or on a Thursday or Friday from 12 - 5pm.

Fundraising

Like most non profits, we always need help with our fundraising. At the moment we are particularly interested in any volunteers who might be able to help us with our business sponsorship scheme. For more information please email us at info@firehouseart.org

Graphic Designer

Assist the Executive Director in the design and production of programs, invitations, and other printed matter.
