Megan Morgan will teach Gelatin Printmaking – a fun and low-tech printmaking process without a press that makes monotype printing available to everyone. It is a spontaneous and satisfying way to create art. I will demonstrate in class how to make a gelatin plate, and I will make your plates prior to class.

Make your own sketchbook! You can pick your cover and your pages making your own custom sketchbooks that work for your artistic or writing practice.
MEND AND SEW THIRD SUNDAYS!
Every 3rd Sunday join our mending and upcycling specialists at Firehouse Art Center to extend the life of your favorite clothes.
Come swap sewing stories, tips, tricks, and misadventures while you make a dent in your “to mend” pile or start that sewing project you’ve been dreaming of. Work on whatever you want, whether it’s altering something to fit better, mending your most loved garments, creating something new from a pattern, or upcycling something old into something new.
Our mission is to help you extend the life of the textiles you already own and our sewing experts will be there to answer questions, offer advice, and share tools.
Feel free to bring snacks and beverages. Just make sure they don’t end up on anyone’s projects.
Space is limited, please register in advance.
We kindly ask that if you are able, to pay what you can so our sewing specialists can continue to provide their time and tools.

ART AND CREATIVE BUSINESS WORKSHOP
Meet with other art & creative businesses to discuss struggles, successes, tips and resources. Professional advice and feedback from Coy Ink
Are you struggling with the ins and outs of starting or continuing a successful art business? Do you wish you could ask someone basic questions to help you avoid hours of research and banging your head on your desk in frustration? Questions like how to use square/credit card payments, how to approach retail stores and galleries, wholesale vs consignment vs shops vs booths, sales tax, business registration? Or just give you tips on local groups and opportunities happening in your community?
This workshop is customized to meet you at whatever stage you’re in with your art or creative business. The class size will be a max of 10 people in a similar situation to yourself. This provides the opportunity to learn from and lean on your fellow classmates and their experiences.
I’ll spend time ahead of the class gathering info and research before the class starts to answer your questions and provide resources to help you get started. If you still want more one-on-one help after the class I’m offering art career counseling starting at $150/mo or on demand sessions for $75/hr.
Fill out the questionnaire below to complete your registration and help me prepare answers and information for you ahead of the class! I look forward to meeting you!
