Sharing Arts and Culture safely during a Pandemic

11/18/2022 Amended Policy for Appointments

The Firehouse Art Center is happy to be open Wednesday through Sunday to walk ins from 12pm-5pm.  We are committed to bringing life enhancing experiences to our community in a way that keeps everyone healthy and safe!  Please be aware exposure to COVID-19 is possible in public places. Please check our calendar for any closures due to installation. Please contact info@firehouseart.org with any questions.

We ask that you follow these guidelines:

Masks

All individuals are encouraged to wear a mask. If you don’t have a mask, we have masks available.

If wearing a mask, your cloth face covering should:
✔️ Reach above the nose, below the chin, and completely cover the mouth and nostrils
✔️ Fit snugly against the sides of the face
✔️ Be made of multiple layers of fabric that you can still breathe through
✔️ Be able to be laundered and machine dried without damaging the material or shape

6 Feet Apart

Please maintain a 6-foot distance from visitors not in your party.

Feeling ill?

If you feel ill or have a temperature, please stay home and reschedule your visit.

Clean Hands

Hand sanitizer can be found in each of the gallery spaces.

Bags

Please leave large bags at home.

Photos of you

The Firehouse often photographs and films onsite programs for use on promotional materials. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please inform a staff member.

What we are doing to keep you safe:

  • Staff and volunteers will wear masks during appointments and weekend open times.
  • We will sterilize surfaces and wash hands throughout the day.
  • We offer antibacterial gel in each of the galleries.

We ask of you:

  • Following state and local guidelines, masks are encouraged but not required. If you don’t have your own mask, we can provide one for you.
  • Come back another day if you are not feeling well.
  • Use the hand sanitizer in the gallery

We are excited for you to come see the show and we appreciate your cooperation on our new policies as we move forward with reopening!
