Marian Hoffman Ting was born in Pennsylvania in 1949. She studied at the Ivy School of Professional Art. Her life became revolutionized by collage, and she has exhibited work nationally since 1970.
“Living in this multi-layered world that is so self-aware of various perspectives, ideologies, and the meaning of signs and images, collage is something that enables one to reflect on the complexity of life and enjoy it’s mystery. I try to mingle color, object and image to produce a little mystery of my own.” -MHT
