Diana Emerson

Diana Emerson likes to dive deep when it comes to creating art. Led by the wisdom of her mother who showed a young Diana how to play with squiggles drawn on paper, she now creates art with pen and ink alcohol ink, photography and psychedelic pieces. Poetry and wordplay add further dimension to Diana’s work as the power of language and emotion have just as much equity to her as any other medium. She sees her art as transformative and sacred. While she calls her childhood self unruly and full of daydreams, she now feeds these dreams and is healing her inner child through her artistic journey “I’ve been creating as long as I can remember”, Diana says of her passion she lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and beloved dog Gemma.

Keely Kernan

Keely Kernan is a versatile multimedia artist, filmmaker, and painter based in Longmont, CO. She is a faculty member of the department of Critical Media Practices at the University of Colorado Boulder. When not teaching she can be found painting in her studio garage in Longmont.

“I am captivated by the delicate balance between the natural world and our place within it. My work explores advocacy for the environment we depend on and concepts around the human experience of conflict, fear, and love. In my exploration I weave in surrealist undertones, infusing my pieces with patterns, swirls, and merging faces, evoking a playful yet enigmatic aura. This approach invites viewers into a space of discovery and contemplation.”
