PROJECT RAINBOW LOVE WITH KOKO BAYER, COLORADO ART THERAPY ASSOCIATION, ENVISION YOU, OASOS AND THE FIREHOUSE!

Who: LGBTQ+ teens and their families, Allies, anyone looking to learn about LGBTQ+ issues in a caring, inclusive and open space.

What: A celebration of Longmont’s LGBTQ+ community and their allies. We will be using the time to create, make art, share stories, and experiences. We will also be creating a wheat pasted mural on the alley wall outside of Tangerines with world renowned mural artist, Koko Bayer. See more of Koko’s work here- https://www.kokobayer.com/

COSTUMED FASHION DRAWING WITH ART OF MODELING- FUNDRAISER FOR SLAY THE RUNWAY

June 14, 6pm-8pm

Costumed Fashion Illustration from a model

To raise funds for our Fashion Design Camp, we are having a Costumed Fashion Illustration drawing session with Art of Modeling.

There will be minimal supplies available, it is recommended to bring your own drawing or water based materials: the Firehouse provides chairs and tables, BYO easel.

In this two-hour session poses vary from short gestures to 15 or 20 minute studies in an open-studio format. This is not an instructor-led class: artists are invited to practice their craft in their own style. Model will be clothed in high fashion attire.

All artists are responsible for cleaning their area after class. Charcoal and paper are provided, but it is recommended to bring your own.

Space is LIMITED.

Discount pricing for Firehouse Artist members, space is limited. Doors close 5 minutes after class start and open 15 minutes before.
