Monday Night Life Drawing
The Firehouse Art Center presents a socially distanced figure drawing session. 18+.
The Firehouse is proud to offer a socially distanced life drawing session coordinated with Art of Modeling.
Short Sit- Dry media only: the Firehouse provides chairs and tables, BYO easel and supplies.
In this two-hour session poses vary from short gestures to 15 or 20 minute studies in an open-studio format. This is not an instructor-led class: artists are invited to practice their craft in their own style.
All artists are responsible for cleaning their area after class. For distancing reasons, each person will need a separate table or must bring their own easel. Please bring your own materials, there will be newsprint and willow charcoal available in case you forget your supplies. Space is LIMITED.

Poetry Night! Held on the last Friday of the month
NOW IN PERSON- Wearing a mask is suggested and recommended as many have not yet had a chance to get vaccinations.
Join the Firehouse Art Center Writers for our Monthly Last Friday Poetry Night. Poetry is an opportunity, it gives us the chance to celebrate and commemorate all the wonderful moments in our lives from the simplest smiles to the most momentous victories. It also enables us to cope in challenging times. With poetry, we can address our problems, come to terms with them, and work to grow past them. It has the potential to move across the spectrum of human experience in a cathartic and often beautiful way. Please only read original work. This event is free but the Firehouse Art Center, as a 501c3 non-profit organization, always appreciates donations!
