Valerie Anne is a poet and multidisciplinary visual artist primarily working in acrylic painting and digital photography. In both her writing and art, she explores themes of mental health, grief, healing and nature. She is currently focused on publishing her first book of poetry “weathering grief with grit and grace”. Valerie is also working to build her painting and photography portfolios, as well as an eco-friendly shop to sell everyday items that she makes. She lives in Longmont, CO with her two children (13&9) and orange tabby cat, Sunny.
